OVERVIEW
Heart and circulatory disease claims around 200,000 lives each year. Many could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available.
This qualification is typically delivered over a half day, or as a bolt on to a full first aid course. The intention is for learners to be able to use an AED with confidence. They will also understand the correct use, storage and maintenance.
This is perfect for those who have an AED on their workplace.

Regulated qualification, written to UK Resuscitation Council protocols. 3 guided learning hours (1/2 day), with 5 total hours qualification time. Valid for one year with certification included. Assessed by MCQs and practical observation.
Syllabus
